The Oceanic Platform of the Canary Islands (PLOCAN) participated in the CANASAR 2025 exercise, an air accident simulation coordinated by the Aeronautical Rescue Coordination Centre of the Canary Islands (ARCC) of the Spanish Air and Space Force. The exercise took place on June 19 south of Gran Canaria and involved the simulation of two incidents:
