Gleyci Moser, researcher of the Universidade do Estado of Rio de Janeiro and José Juan Barrera, researcher of the Universidade Federal of Sao Paulo, visited the facilities of the Oceanic Platform of the Canary Islands (PLOCAN) in Taliarte. During the meeting with the technicians of PLOCAN they had the opportunity to discover the lines of work of the Oceanic Platform of the Canary Islands and to explore possible future collaboration related to oceanography and underwater vehicles. Furthermore, they visited the glider laboratory where they were informed about the different technologies, sensors, missions and projects that are executed.
Gleyci Moser is specialised in functional ecology of marine phytoplankton and international cooperation adviser at the IRJ. José Juan Barrera is specialised in biological oceanography and marine ecology.
