PLOCAN renews its quality certification

PLOCAN has renewed its integrated management system certification according to the UNE-EN ISO 9001: 2015 standard and has maintained its certification in the ISO 14001: 2015 and ISO 45001: 2018 standards. ISO standards are support tools to achieve a sustainable development in organizations and meet the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The SDGs were promoted by the United Nations (UN) and its objectives were adopted by world leaders to achieve a sustainable world by 2030. The sustainable development agenda establishes 17 objectives and 169 targets to eradicate poverty, protect the planet and ensure prosperity.

The ISO standards support the three pillars of Sustainable Development, economic, social and environmental, constituting a frame of reference for the development of the activities of organizations. With the certification in the three standards, PLOCAN guarantees its continuous commitment to quality, to safety and health of the staff, and to the environment, while integrating the SDGs in its usual activity.
