The director of PLOCAN, José Joaquín Hernández Brito, will participate in the international conference ‘Chile Riding the Blue Energy Wave’ on renewable marine energy, which is organised by the Energía Marina Company and its Technological Center MERIC (Marine Energy Research and Innovation Center).
Hernández Brito will participate in the session ‘The impact of blue economy on productive processes’ which will address the relevance of developing integrated productivity models and how are the offshore structures a key element to beneficiate the maritime industry.
The conference will take place on April 12th and 13th, 2021. Its objective is to seek knowledge exchange and global collaboration opportunities in the worldwide marine energy discussion as well as to promote renewable marine energy technologies as a promising option for Chile.
‘Chile Riding the Blue Energy Wave’ will be attended by more than 36 institutions from 15 countries. It is organized in various sessions in which workshops, presentations and round table discussions will be held focused on innovation and technology within the renewable marine energies sector.
