The British company ENSHORE SUBSEA conducted an on-site demonstration of its innovative RAPIDSCAN Subsea technology at its facilities located in the port of Blyth (United Kingdom). This event brought together leading representatives of the marine-maritime sector interested in new technological solutions for underwater operations, including the Canary Islands Ocean Platform (PLOCAN), which actively joined in the event.
RAPIDSCAN Subsea represents a cutting-edge solution developed by ENSHORE SUBSEA for the installation and protection of subsea cables, offering a more efficient, safer and respectful approach to the marine environment. Technology combines advanced remote-control capabilities with high-performance excavation tools, enabling to operate in complex conditions and optimize seabed intervention times.
During the demonstration, different simulations were carried out in a controlled environment enabling to see in real-time the operational potential of RAPIDSCAB Subsea. Attendees were able to verify the accuracy and speed of the interventions, as well as their versatility to adapt to different seabed types. This technology aims to revolutionize sectors such as marine renewable energy, underwater telecommunications and defense, where secure cabling installation becomes critical.
