New measurement campaign of the HERAKLES project in PLOCAN

Engineers and technicians of the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and PLOCAN have carried out a new measurement campaign of the HERAKLES project.

HERAKLES is an R&D project of the State Programme for Research, Development and Innovation geared towards the Challenges of the 2016 Society, which is coordinated by the IDeTIC research institute of the University of Las Palmas and the Polytechnic University of Madrid.

This project is the continuation of the UNDERWORLD project.  It consists of the implementation of a network of underwater wireless sensors, through a combination of theoretical contributions, measurement campaigns and software and hardware development.

The measurements and the validation tests are being performed at PLOCAN facilities. For a full detail about the measurement setup please check the following link: Underwater measurement setup.
