The Oceanic Platform of the Canary Islands has virtually exhibited its glider laboratory and offered a talk given by PLOCAN’s head of underwater vehicles and machines, Carlos Barrera, on the occasion of Open Gov Week.
The talk took place in different areas of the laboratory so that attendees could learn about the different glider technologies, how they work and the activities that PLOCAN carries out with these devices. Attendees had the opportunity to actively participate by asking questions during the session.

Open Govt Week is an initiative promoted worldwide by the Open Government Alliance with the main objective of bringing Public Administrations closer to citizens, based on the principles of Open Government: transparency, accountability, citizen participation, public integrity and collaboration. In Spain, the Open Government Week is coordinated and promoted by the Directorate General of Public Governance of the Ministry of Finance and Public Function, with the collaboration of the Open Government Forum.
