EU representatives visit PLOCAN as part of the strategic Hexagone Project

A delegation of EU representatives visited the facilities of the Oceanic Platform of the Canary Islands during a journey of visits organised by the Directorate-General for Economic Affairs with Africa as part of the strategic Hexagone Project. Its objective is to support the MAC Programme 2014-2020 on the revitalisation of cooperation with the associated African countries.

During the visit they were informed in detail about the facilities and services of PLOCAN. Furthermore, an explanation was given about the different projects currently in development by the Consortium. Octavio Llinás, Director of the Oceanic Platform of the Canary Islands, moderated a roundtable between the attendants in order to solve doubts and questions about the Multipurpose Offshore Platform and about the current projects that are developed in PLOCAN.
