Advisory Committee on Socio-Economic Activities (ACSEA)

The Socio-Economic Activities Advisory Committee (ACSEA) is a consultative body of the Consortium whose objective is to advise on the scientific and technological activities, programmes and plans of PLOCAN as well as to propose future actions that can focus the work of the Consortium on contributing to the sustainable socio-economic development of ocean activities.

The ACSEA was constituted on 9 October 2009 at its first meeting held at the headquarters of the PLOCAN Consortium in Taliarte. It is made up of persons of recognised prestige in the socio-economic fields related to the aims and activities of the Consortium, appointed by the Governing Council.
